Bruce Millar
CEO
Bruce Millar founded Cougar Software in 1992. With a background in finance, he developed 'risk arbitrage' trading systems for the State Bank of New South Wales and Jacksons Stockbrokers. Since then he has been responsible for the design of a wide variety of software products within the finance industry. He has had extensive dealings with professionals at all levels of funds management, real estate, banking and software industries in Australia and internationally. His keen understanding of investment principles provides the background to Cougar's emphasis upon investment management. Bruce leads the Asia Pacific business out of Sydney, Australia.
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
Oren Rosen, MBA
President, North America
As President, Oren is responsible for Cougar's™ regional vision, corporate strategy and operations. Further, Oren has global responsibility as Cougar's™ COO where he is responsible for defining and deploying consistent standards for business development, implementation, and support, ensuring Cougar's™ high standards and strong reputation are maintained in all regions the company operates.
Oren possesses strong business fundamentals enhanced with an Executive MBA from Kellogg/Schulich and a solid background in management consulting with top tier consulting firms Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.
Oren is a technology and real estate veteran with significant knowledge and experience in building software companies, having occupied leadership positions for some of real estate’s leading software solution providers.
Oren holds a Bachelor of Technology from Macquarie University (Australia) and an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern) and Schulich (York University).
Benjamin Duke
Executive Director and Head of Product Development
Ben Duke joined Cougar™ in 1997. Previously Ben worked at HSBC. Ben is the head of product development for the core Cougar™ applications and is responsible for developing and implementing product strategy. He leads Cougar's research & development team and quality assures large implementations around the world.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney.
Robert John, MBA
President, Europe
Robert John joined us in 2006 to head up our European operations. Previously, Robert was an associate partner with Deloitte & Touche GmbH/Innova AG in Germany, where he was also head of corporate consulting and a specialist in portfolio management. Robert's working career has been wholly within the real estate industry.
Robert holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Anglia Polytechnic University, Cambridge, England and a Diplom-Betriebswirt of Technische Fachhochschule zu Berlin, Germany.
