The webinar was a conversation between executive leadership and IT, about what it takes to definitively develop and deliver a real estate strategy and on how technology can lower costs, increase revenues, improve customer/client relationships, increase organizational competitiveness and reduce our reliance on energy.

Bruce Millar

Managing Director, Australia

Bruce Millar (BCom, New South Wales) founded Cougar Software in 1992. With a background in finance, he developed 'risk arbitrage' trading systems for the State Bank of New South Wales and Jacksons Stockbrokers. Since then he has been responsible for the design of a wide variety of software products within the finance & real estate industries. He has had extensive dealings with professionals at all levels of funds management, real estate, banking and software industries in Australia and internationally. His deep understanding of real estate and investment principles provides the background to Cougar's emphasis on the global real estate investment industry. Bruce leads the Asia Pacific business out of Sydney, Australia.

Oren Rosen, MBA

Chief Executive Officer

As President and Group CEO, Oren Rosen (MBA) is responsible for Cougar's™ global vision, corporate strategy and operations. Oren’s global responsibility extends to his responsibilities for defining and deploying consistent standards for business development, implementation, and support, ensuring Cougar's™ high standards and strong reputation are maintained in all regions the company operates.

Oren possesses strong business fundamentals enhanced with an Executive MBA from Kellogg/Schulich and a solid background in management consulting with top tier consulting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

Oren is a technology and real estate veteran with significant knowledge and experience in building software companies, having occupied leadership positions in some leading real estate software solution providers.

Oren holds a Bachelor of Technology from Macquarie University (Australia) and an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern) and Schulich (York University).

Benjamin Duke

Executive Director and Head of Product Development

Ben Duke (Bachelor of Science) joined Cougar™ in its infancy in 1997 and from then has spear-headed the Cougar’s product development teams. He is responsible for developing Cougar’s core applications and implementing product strategy. He leads Cougar's research and development team and quality assures large implementations around the world.

Angus MacFadyen

Managing Director, UK/Europe

Angus joined Cougar in October 2010 to head our UK business and is responsible for further developing the Cougar business and its relationships in Europe. He was a co-founder of Aperio Systems, which was acquired by Cougar in October 2010. His primary areas of focus are: maintaining and building successful client relationships, marketing & sales and strategic planning in accordance with how the real estate industry is developing in order to help ensure that Cougar continues to deliver the best financial analysis tools to its customers. Prior to co-founding Aperio, Angus worked in investment management including in real estate and alternative asset classes.
